I am inspired to kick off our first “Good wears black” Pro Humanitate Day in Hawaii.
I live on Maui and we’ll help gather and bring food to the Maui Food Bank on Saturday April 13, as they are very low on food. I expect there are similar organizations on each island, and donations of food are alway appreciated.
I hope this email finds each of you with enough food in your bellies, and secure in the certainty of your next meal. Let’s help those among our communities that cannot say the same.
Please register here by Saturday March 30 if you’d like to join us on Maui April 13, and you will receive further details. If you’re on a neighbor Island or Oahu, and want to be connected to others on your island, register with the second option. If you cannot participate but would still like to help, register with the third option to receive information about how to order food (from Amazon, etc) to join our delivery that day.
